Allsite Staffing is recruiting an experienced Civil Technologist / Designer for an exciting opportunity within a growing Civils & Infrastructure team. Due to an expanding portfolio of projects nationwide, we are seeking a motivated Civil Technologist / Designer who can be based in Dublin, Cork, Galway or Waterford.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of major national infrastructure projects across both the public and private sectors, with strong potential for career progression within an expanding team.
The successful candidate will provide technical design and drafting services using Civil 3D, AutoCAD and other BIM technologies. You will work closely with internal project teams, wider multidisciplinary design teams and contractors to deliver high-quality civil engineering drawings and models.
Key Responsibilities - Produce civil engineering designs, drawings and models using Civil 3D and AutoCAD - Develop detailed civil works delivery information and earthworks models - Support detailed design across major infrastructure projects - Prepare and maintain BIM models for civil engineering projects - Manage project drawings and deliverables in collaboration with Team Leaders - Liaise effectively with internal teams, external designers and contractors - Ensure drawings and models are produced to a high standard of presentation, accuracy and technical content
What We're Looking For - 3-8 years' civil engineering experience - Minimum Level 6 Civil Engineering qualification, BTech or equivalent - Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD - Experience with civil works detailing, earthworks modelling and detailed design - Familiarity with BIM modelling for civil engineering/infrastructure projects - Ability to manage your own project drawings and deliverables - Strong communication and teamwork skills - A collaborative approach with the ability to take ownership of deliverables - Motivated, hardworking and keen to progress your career
