Job Overview We are currently recruiting a number of Mechanical Assemblers (Temps) to join our production team. In this role, you will work closely alongside an experienced Skilled Fabricator in a buddy system, assembling components within a structured “Meccano-type” assembly cell. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals with basic mechanical experience who are comfortable using tools and eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the assembly of steel-framed balcony components
Work as part of a two-person team to complete detailed mechanical builds
Use hand and power tools such as impact drivers, screw guns, and other assembly equipment
Fit and secure components using rivets, bolts, and fixings (up to 1,000 per assembly)
Follow technical instructions and ensure accuracy and quality in all work
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Requirements
Some previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar hands-on role preferred
Competent in using tools such as impact drivers, drills, and screw guns
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with skilled team members
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
