We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Picker & Materials Handler to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a fast-paced and highly responsible role within a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring the accurate picking, kitting, and delivery of materials to production teams.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately pick, pack, and kit materials for production
Manage and distribute a high volume of components (including fixings and bolts across multiple product types)
Ensure correct materials are issued to the correct production cells
Operate forklift safely and efficiently (up to 6m height)
Maintain strong organisation across warehouse stock and workflows
Work independently while managing multiple priorities
Support overall warehouse operations and efficiency
Requirements
Minimum 10 years’ forklift experience (essential)
Experience operating up to 6 metres with a 3-stage mast
Must be highly competent and confident operator
Proven experience in high-accuracy picking / kitting environments
Exceptional attention to detail (ability to manage large volumes of similar components)
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Fast-paced, hardworking, and efficient with strong productivity levels
Ability to work on own initiative and take ownership of workload
Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving ability
