Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Groundworker / Pipe Layer to join our team on ongoing civil and construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable worker to secure long-term work on well-organised sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation of underground drainage and pipework systems
Laying pipes to correct line and level
Excavation, trenching, and backfilling
Working with ducting, manholes, and concrete works
Reading drawings and setting out work accurately
Operating small plant (advantageous)
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Following all health & safety procedures
Requirements:
Proven experience as a groundworker and/or pipe layer
Valid Safe Pass card (essential)
Manual Handling certificate (preferred)
Experience in drainage and utilities work
Ability to read drawings and work independently
Tickets for plant machinery (an advantage)
Strong work ethic and reliability
