As Project Director, you will take full responsibility for the mechanical delivery strategy—from early-stage planning through construction and commissioning—ensuring successful outcomes across programme, cost, quality, and safety. This role spans three core phases:

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership across all mechanical aspects of the project lifecycle
Oversee mechanical contracts, ensuring alignment with technical, commercial, and contractual requirements
Lead design coordination and engineering integration across multidisciplinary teams
Drive pre-construction planning and interface management with civil, electrical, process, and commissioning teams
Shape and support procurement strategies, contract negotiations, and change control
Champion EHS, quality, and environmental compliance across all project activities
Monitor and optimise programme delivery, cost control, and risk management
Act as a senior point of contact for client stakeholders and executive leadership
About You
Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Extensive experience in a senior leadership role (Project Director / Contracts Manager level) on large-scale projects
Strong track record in mechanical delivery on complex industrial or energy projects
Proven expertise in design coordination and multidisciplinary integration
Solid understanding of steam systems and large-scale industrial plant
