About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced BIM professional to join a growing engineering organisation delivering large-scale energy projects across Ireland and Europe. This role is ideal for either:
A BIM Coordinator with ~2 years’ experience ready to step into a BIM Manager position, or
An early-stage BIM Manager (1–2 years) who is hands-on and comfortable balancing both coordination and management responsibilities
You will play a key role in the digital delivery of complex infrastructure and energy projects, ensuring BIM standards, coordination, and workflows are effectively implemented across multidisciplinary teams. This is a dynamic role within a growing company, offering long-term progression into a leadership BIM Manager position.
Location: West Dublin (Onsite) + 1 day/week in Arklow HQ
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage BIM processes across multiple energy projects
Develop, implement, and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP), TIDPs, MIDPs, and BIM-related documentation
Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary models (with strong focus on MEP)
Manage model federation and workflows within ACC / Common Data Environments
Chase, track, and coordinate stakeholder model submissions
Lead BIM coordination meetings, including minutes and action trackers
Perform clash detection using tools such as Navisworks and communicate issues to relevant stakeholders
Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 (EN 19650) and project-specific BIM requirements
Oversee data management, quality control, and BIM standards implementation
Support project teams with BIM expertise and troubleshooting
Assist with asset tagging and as-built model delivery for client handover
Requirements
Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Construction, or related discipline
Minimum 2 years’ experience in BIM Coordination within a Main Contractor environment
Strong experience coordinating and federating models across multiple stakeholders
Proven experience leading BIM coordination meetings and managing outputs
Solid understanding of BIM clash detection processes
Strong construction knowledge, with a preference for MEP background
Experience working in line with ISO / EN 19650 standards
Ability to produce and manage BIM documentation (BEP, MIDP, TIDP, Risk Registers)
Good understanding of as-built requirements and asset information delivery
Proficiency in BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 / ACC
Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills
