As a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical), you will take ownership of all commercial aspects of MEP packages across the full project lifecycle. You'll be a key commercial driver, ensuring cost efficiency, risk mitigation, and value delivery while collaborating closely with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all commercial aspects of MEP packages from pre-construction through to final account
Lead cost planning, budgeting, and value engineering initiatives
Support procurement processes including tender analysis and contract negotiations
Oversee measurement, valuations, and interim payment applications
Manage variations, change control, and contractual compliance
Deliver accurate financial reporting and forecasting
Drive final account agreements with clients and subcontractors
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success
Requirements
Minimum 10+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction
Proven track record with main contractors or large-scale construction firms
Strong experience delivering MEP packages, ideally within data centres or mission-critical projects
Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline
Solid understanding of contracts such as NEC, FIDIC, or similar
Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
Fluent English essential
