About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Finishing Foreman to join our growing construction team on a high-quality residential/commercial project in North County Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all finishing works on site, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and in line with health and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all finishing trades on site including carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, snagging, and final handover works
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and in accordance with project specifications
Manage subcontractors and direct labour effectively
Monitor progress and ensure deadlines are met
Carry out quality checks and manage snag lists to completion
Work closely with Site Manager, Project Manager, and subcontractors
Maintain a safe working environment and ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations
Report daily progress and address any issues promptly
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Finishing Foreman role
Strong background in residential and/or commercial construction projects
Excellent knowledge of finishing trades and quality control
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and meet tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Safe Pass and Manual Handling required
CSR/SMSTS (advantageous but not essential)
Full driving licence preferred
