A leading mechanical services contractor is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to support its continued growth across Ireland and international markets. The organisation delivers high-quality, end-to-end design and build solutions—from concept through to commissioning—for a portfolio of high-profile clients, with a strong track record in healthcare projects.
 
This role is ideally suited to candidates with proven experience delivering HVAC and mechanical installations within healthcare environments, where strict compliance, safety, and operational continuity are essential. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with healthcare experience to join a progressive organisation delivering impactful, high-quality projects.
 
The Project Manager will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring works are completed in line with contractual requirements, programme timelines, quality standards, and construction regulations—particularly within regulated healthcare settings.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing projects from initial handover through to commissioning and final closeout
  • Coordinating mechanical services installations, with a focus on healthcare-specific requirements and standards
  • Developing and maintaining QEHS (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety) documentation
  • Overseeing site setup, logistics, procurement, and subcontractor performance
  • Ensuring quality assurance documentation is delivered in line with project milestones
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop and track project programmes
  • Attending site and coordination meetings, including daily progress reviews
  • Supervising commissioning and testing of mechanical systems, particularly critical healthcare infrastructure
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience managing HVAC or mechanical services projects within healthcare environments (essential)
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in a Project Manager role
  • Strong understanding of regulatory, safety, and quality requirements in healthcare construction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project reporting tools
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects to tight deadlines
  • Full, clean driver's licence
