A leading mechanical services contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support its continued expansion across Ireland and international markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Project Manager with a strong background in HVAC and mechanical installations within healthcare environments to join a progressive, people-focused organisation delivering technically complex and meaningful projects. Working on critical healthcare infrastructure, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining operational continuity in highly regulated environments. The Role As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of project delivery from initial handover through to commissioning and final closeout. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure all works are completed in line with programme schedules, contractual obligations, quality standards, and construction regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead HVAC and mechanical services projects from pre-construction through to final commissioning
Coordinate mechanical installations in line with healthcare-specific standards and compliance requirements
Develop, implement, and maintain QEHS (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety) documentation
Manage site setup, logistics, procurement activities, and subcontractor performance
Ensure QA documentation and project deliverables are completed in accordance with project milestones
Collaborate closely with senior management to develop and monitor project programmes
Chair and attend site coordination meetings, including daily progress reviews
Oversee the testing and commissioning of critical mechanical systems within live healthcare environments
Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements
Proven experience managing HVAC or mechanical services projects within healthcare environments (essential)
Previous experience in a Project Manager role delivering complex mechanical projects
Strong understanding of healthcare construction regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project reporting systems
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects within tight deadlines
Full clean driver’s licence
