We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join our growing team in Bray. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who is eager to learn and progress within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist laser operator with material handling, including loading and unloading machines
Safely handle and move materials using pallet trucks and mechanical equipment
Inspect finished laser-cut parts using measuring equipment
Remove sharp edges from finished products using power tools
Pack finished products for dispatch and print labels/delivery documentation
Support laser operators during machine set-ups
Maintain a clean and organised workshop area
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and progress to machine operator level
Requirements:
Good attention to detail
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to work safely in a workshop environment
Experience using power tools is an advantage
Forklift licence beneficial but not essential
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
