An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join a growing and dynamic engineering team delivering complex, large-scale projects across the energy, data centre, and industrial sectors. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile, landmark developments throughout Ireland and Europe, contributing at the early and critical stages of project delivery.

Location Arklow / Hybrid 

 Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Lead and manage pre-construction activities across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with client and project requirements
  • Coordinate feasibility studies, technical assessments, and design reviews
  • Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders to develop robust project strategies
  • Prepare and review tender documentation, cost estimates, and project schedules
  • Identify risks and opportunities at early project stages and implement mitigation strategies
  • Support bid submissions and contribute to securing new project opportunities
  • Oversee value engineering processes to optimise cost, quality, and programme outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and project teams
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and external partners to ensure smooth project progression
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline)
  • 8 years plus experience in M&E pre-construction, design, or project engineering 
  • Strong background in energy, data centre, or industrial projects is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience with cost estimation and tendering
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Location Arklow / Hybrid with travel to sites if required
