We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Snagger to join a busy construction team working on residential and commercial projects in the Portlaoise area.
Role Overview As a Snagger, you will be responsible for carrying out detailed finishing and quality control work on newly built properties. Your role is essential in ensuring all units are completed to a high standard before handover.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out snag lists on newly completed properties
Repairing minor defects in plaster, paint, joinery, tiling, and finishes
Ensuring all work meets required quality standards
Working closely with site managers and trades to close out outstanding issues
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Reporting defects clearly and accurately
Requirements
Previous experience in snagging or finishing work in construction (essential)
Good eye for detail and high-quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and manage workload
Basic tools required for finishing tasks
Valid Safe Pass (preferred/required depending on site)
Manual Handling certificate (advantage)
