Our client is a growing property development and construction company delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across Galway City.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Foreman / Site Manager to oversee multiple live projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys driving quality, safety and programme delivery while leading site teams from the front.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day delivery of multiple construction sites.
Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour and site logistics.
Ensure works are completed safely, on schedule and to specification.
Carry out quality inspections and maintain high construction standards.
Monitor progress using construction management software (Buildertrend, Procore or similar).
Liaise with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, design teams and subcontractors.
Maintain site records, progress reports and Health & Safety documentation.
Conduct toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture.
Plan upcoming work and proactively identify programme risks.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Foreman, General Foreman or Site Manager.
Strong practical construction background across concrete, blockwork, carpentry, groundworks and finishing trades.
Ability to interpret construction drawings.
Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience using digital construction management systems.
Full clean driving licence, Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
Desirable
Experience delivering residential or mixed-use developments.
Knowledge of BCAR requirements.
Experience managing subcontractor packages.
First Aid and CSCS/Supervisory qualifications.
Experience with Buildertrend, Procore and Microsoft 365.
