The Role As Site Agent, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of civil engineering and utility projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with clients, local authorities, subcontractors and internal teams, you'll play a key role in delivering essential infrastructure projects, including the BusConnects National Transport Programme, one of Ireland's largest transport infrastructure investments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead site teams, subcontractors and project resources.
Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Review engineering drawings and implement design changes where required.
Monitor project progress, programmes and budgets.
Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) standards.
Oversee traffic management and all on-site safety requirements.
Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics.
Carry out quality inspections and ensure works meet client specifications.
Provide regular progress updates to clients and project managers.
Mentor junior engineers and site personnel.
Drive continuous improvement across project delivery.
About You
Previous experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering, utilities or roads projects.
Strong background delivering civils and infrastructure projects.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Commercial awareness with a good understanding of project costs.
Excellent knowledge of HSQE requirements.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Experience managing multiple site teams and subcontractors.
Engineering qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
Full clean driving licence.
