Design Engineer (Civil) - Building & Infrastructure

A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their growing Building & Infrastructure team. This role can be based in the West of Ireland, Dublin, or Munster, with hybrid working available.

The successful candidate will have a Level 8 Honours degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 2-6 years' experience in civil infrastructure design. You will support project delivery, produce high-quality design outputs, and work closely with Project Managers and senior engineers across a range of infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing civil designs, reports, drawings, and calculations
• Supporting and reviewing work completed by Graduate Engineers
• Using AutoCAD 2D, Civil 3D, and developing BIM/Revit capability
• Assisting with tenders, contracts, site investigations, and contract administration
• Liaising with clients and internal project teams

Requirements:

• Strong AutoCAD 2D and Civil 3D experience
• Good communication and technical skills
• Knowledge of public works contracts and contract administration an advantage
• Collaborative, detail-focused approach
