Lead Planner - Hybrid (West of Ireland / Dublin / Munster)
My client is seeking an experienced and proactive Lead Planner to join their growing Environment & Planning team. This is a senior opportunity for a chartered planning professional to lead complex projects, provide strategic planning advice, and mentor junior staff within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
The role offers flexible location and hybrid working, with offices across the West of Ireland, Dublin and Munster.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and review complex planning applications, EIARs and planning reports
• Provide strategic planning advice across a range of sectors
• Mentor and manage junior planners
• Liaise with clients, planning authorities, An Bord Pleanála and key stakeholders
• Support project delivery, timelines and budgets in collaboration with internal teams
• Represent clients at meetings, consultations and Oral Hearings
• Contribute to business development and tender submissions

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in planning, with project leadership experience
• Corporate Member of IPI or Chartered Member of RTPI
• Strong knowledge of Irish planning legislation and EIAR processes
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
