Allsite Staffing is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer - Civil and Environmental Engineering to join our client's Circular Economy and Environment team, based in our Cork, Dublin, or Carlow offices. This position is a key part of a growing business and involves close collaboration with a team of experienced professionals.
We are looking for candidates with at least 8 years of relevant experience. The successful applicant will become part of an established and reputable company, with opportunities to further develop both technical expertise and managerial capabilities. This role also provides a defined pathway for career progression to the level of Principal Engineer.
What would my main responsibilities be in this role?
Overseeing the planning and management of design work and CAD documentation, in close collaboration with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians
Participating in on-site meetings with clients and other professionals
Ensuring adherence to the company's Quality Assurance and Management Systems
Complying with all relevant health and safety regulations
Coordinating activities and deliverables with other members of the project team
Am I the right person for the role?
A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Minimum of 8 years of post-graduate professional experience
Proven experience in project management
Energetic and self-motivated professional
Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills
Demonstrated experience in liaising with external stakeholders, clients, and sub-contractors
Flexible, collaborative, and an effective team player
Capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Possesses a full, clean valid driving licence
Experience in the design for anaerobic digestion facilities, solid waste management facilities or public realm is desirable
