We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Engineer to join our growing team in Galway. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 2–3 years’ experience to develop their career while working on a diverse range of residential and commercial projects.
The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced team, gaining valuable hands-on experience in project delivery, site coordination and technical engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of residential and commercial projects.
Carry out site inspections and monitor project progress.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, site teams and project management.
Ensure works are completed to the required quality, safety and programme standards.
Review technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
Help resolve technical issues and support the smooth running of site operations.
Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates.
Requirements
2–3 years’ experience in an engineering role, ideally within the construction industry.
Relevant engineering qualification.
Experience or exposure to residential and commercial projects.
Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full clean driving licence.
