Role Overview

• Installation, testing and commissioning of fire alarm systems and sensors
• Work carried out in commercial buildings and active/live environments
• High standard of finish required — sites must be left clean and fully operational
• Maintenance-focused role, not construction-based
• Most work is low voltage so no Electrical cert is required

  
Suitable Backgrounds

• Alarm Installers
• Commissioning Engineers (Fire & Security)
• Electricians with maintenance or service experience
• Security / Fire Service Technicians

  
Not suitable for:

• Construction-only electricians or site-based install crews without live-environment experience

  
Experience Requirements

• Proven experience installing and/or commissioning fire alarm systems or similar
• Comfortable working in live commercial settings
• Strong attention to detail and site cleanliness
• Ability to test, fault-find and hand over systems (senior roles)

  
Salary & Package

• Alarm Installer: €40,000 – €45,000
• Alarm Installer with commissioning experience: €50,000+
• Highly experienced candidates: up to €60,000
• Company vehicle provided at all levels

  
Interview Process

• First round: Phone interview
• Second round: Face-to-face interview (office-based)

Final round: Client interview and trade test
