All Site Staffing are currently looking for a steel Sheet metal fabricator for long term work in the wicklow area
Job Description We have recently Invested in a New Laser Cutting Division called Laserprofiling.ie and we have Laser Capability as well as Full Fabrication Capability.
Responsibilities we manufacture Stainless Steel products and provide services to our clients in various industries such as Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Injection Moulding & Marine Industries for CLEANROOMS. We have a team of personnel with a variety of skills such as; Design using Solidworks & Autocad,
Fabrication in materials such as: Stainless & Aluminium & Some Mild Steel.
Welding MMA, Tig & Mig in such materials as & Stainless Steel , Aluminium& some Carbon.
Stainless Steel Polishing & Finishing and Weld Cleaning for Items capable of being placed into Pharma Cleanrooms.
Carry out Final Assemblies of Stainless Steel, Aluminium & Carbon Assemblies based on Production Drawings
Set up Fabrication Equipment such as Breakpress, Pinch Rollers, Pyramid Rollers, Pipe Benders and effect elements of your fabrication on these machines
Interpret drawings, evaluate fabrication methods on assignments in the operation and setup of equipment
Required to go to client’s sites who are based in North Wicklow or Dublin where our Fitters who move large plant using and Mechanical & Air Skates and we connect all mechanical services to this Plant. Additionally we have a Fully dedicated Toolmaking workshop with CNC Mills, Lathes and Surface & Cylindrical Grinders & work in Mild & Stainless Steel Workshops in North Wicklow. You may be required on site to see what Fabrication elements are required to join the infrastructure to the new machines and make a manual drawing with accurate drawing so we can make an accurate Fabrication Drawing and then Execute the Fabrication elements back in our Fabrication workshop.
Liaise with our Laser and CNC sections so these elements will fit accurately into your final assembly
Qualifications
Experienced 4 year+ Metal Fabrication Experience in Mild / Stainless & Aluminium
Qualified Time Served as Metal Fabricator.
Welding Certs MMA, Mig, Tig
Experience in an ISO/BRC Environment desirable
Working Knowledge of CAD Systems and can Revise Manufacturing Drawings and turn into Flat patterns for Laser and also Fabrication Elements would be an advantage
Full clean driving license
Safe pass – Advantage (We Can provide)
Manual handling – Advantage (We Can provide)
Abrasive wheels – Advantage (We Can provide)
Working at heights – Advantage (We Can provide)
Skills/Attributes:
Problem solving ability and ability to work on own initiative – Most Important
Good organisational and communication skills in English
Be very comfortable with Some Type of Cad System and Excel and Word in order to build schedules of time critical work both in the Fabrication Workshop and on Site Fitting Teams
Ability to upgrade skills on an on-going basis.
High level of safe working practices and awareness.
